At the start of this level your main focus should be on getting past the sea of licorice swirls. Obviously without doing so you will not be able to get your ingredients to fall.
For the most part, striped candies will do wonders on ingredient levels. However, using them against the licorice swirls will prove futile as they just swallow up the effects of both the striped and wrapped candies.
Do your best to simply clear them away until the board is able to open up more.Once your ingredient is below them you should be good.
At times the board may even reshuffle which could be a key assist in this level to get through the blockers.
