Chocolate levels are the fifth level type that you will encounter in Candy Crush Soda Saga. There are currently 77 chocolate levels in Candy Crush Soda.
To defeat chocolate levels, you must remove all the chocolate from the playing field. Chocolate can be removed by making matches next to it or with the effects of special candies.
Candy Crush Soda Chocolate Level Tips
Don’t allow yourself to get distracted by point requirements for chocolate levels. If you complete the objective, you will have enough points to get at least one star.
Chocolate can be difficult to clear because of its regenerative ability. For every move that you do not remove at least one chocolate piece, the chocolate will grow back.
White chocolate adds a new piece of chocolate and a layer to an existing piece of chocolate. Milk chocolate adds one piece of chocolate.
Often, you’ll have to balance the advantages of making a special candy against stopping the chocolate from growing further. If you will be able to quickly use a special candy to remove multiple pieces of chocolate, it is worth making. If not, a better choice may be to make a regular match near the chocolate.
Levels with both types of chocolate are very difficult. Unless you remove pieces from both colors, at least one of them will regenerate chocolate pieces. Often, focusing on the white chocolate first will help you beat the level.
Don’t let your special candies linger too long near chocolate. The chocolate spread will eat your special candies as well as regular candies.
Locked chocolates need a special candy to be unlocked. However, it will not start spreading new chocolate until it has been unlocked.
