Level 49 Cheat #1: Destroy all the licorice and meringue.

• Beginning at the bottom (or as close to the bottom as possible), make matches that will destroy the meringue and licorice Xs. Both obstacles will greatly hinder your ability to complete the level and should be removed entirely.
• Meringue is much easier to remove than licorice, so devote most of your early efforts to destroying the licorice first. It’s the most obtrusive obstacle anyway.

Level 49 Cheat #2: Keep Odus safe and use the Moon Struck.

• special candies are worth their weight in gold, but only if you use them correctly. Try to move horizontally striped candy to the bottom to destroy all the licorice at once, and use vertically striped candies to drop an ingredient through the puzzle in one go.
• Combining special candies is especially potent. If you can combine a color bomb with a striped candy, it will turn all candies of that color into striped versions, which can clear out the whole board.
