How Special Candies Are Made
Match 4 in a row. Clears entire row or column when matched.
Match in L-shape or T-shape. Explodes in 3x3 area twice.
Match 5 in a row. Swap with any candy to clear that color.
Combo Power Rankings
Color Bomb + Color Bomb
Effect: Clears the ENTIRE board. Every single candy removed in one move.
How to set up: Match 5 in a row twice and combine. Extremely rare but game-ending when you get it.
Best for: Any level type. The ultimate move.
Color Bomb + Wrapped
Effect: Converts all candies of the wrapped candy's color to wrapped, then detonates ALL of them.
How to set up: Match 5 in a row for the Color Bomb, then combine with any wrapped candy.
Best for: Jelly levels, order levels — massive area damage.
Color Bomb + Striped
Effect: Converts all candies of the striped candy's color to striped, then activates ALL of them simultaneously.
How to set up: Match 5 in a row for the Color Bomb, then combine with any striped candy.
Best for: Everything — clears dozens of blockers at once.
Wrapped + Wrapped
Effect: Double explosion — massive 5x5 area cleared twice. Destroys most blockers in the vicinity.
How to set up: Create two wrapped candies (L-shape or T-shape matches) and swap them together.
Best for: Concentrated blocker clusters, cake bombs.
Striped + Wrapped
Effect: Clears 3 full rows AND 3 full columns simultaneously. One of the most reliable power combos.
How to set up: Create a striped (4 in a row) and wrapped (L/T shape), then swap them together.
Best for: Jelly in corners, ingredients, spreading chocolate — the Swiss Army knife combo.
Striped + Striped
Effect: Clears one full row AND one full column simultaneously (cross pattern).
How to set up: Create two striped candies (4 in a row) and swap them together.
Best for: Quick board clear, hitting corners.
Color Bomb + Regular
Effect: Removes all candies of the swapped color from the board.
How to set up: Match 5 in a row, then swap the Color Bomb with any regular candy.
Best for: Order/collection levels — clear entire color at once.
Pro Tips for Setting Up Combos
- 1. Work from the bottom. Bottom matches cause cascades that can accidentally create special candies above.
- 2. Don't use specials immediately. Move special candies next to each other before activating them. A combo is always better than a solo activation.
- 3. Plan two moves ahead. Look at what your match will create, not just what it clears.
- 4. Ignore the hint arrow. The game suggests simple matches, not strategic ones. Your brain beats the algorithm.
