Candy Crush Jelly tips, cheats, and guides to help you become the master of jelly spreading. Candy Crush Jelly is perhaps the toughest of all the games in the Candy Crush series and forces you to really plan out all of your moves like you have never done before. But fear not fellow candy crusher, we’ve got all the Candy Jelly Tips to get you through every challenge.
Candy Crush Jelly Level Tips
In the original Candy Crush Saga, a big focus on the game was clearing out pesky jelly pieces scattered across the board. Well, in Candy Crush Jelly, it’s the complete opposite. In the most prominent level type of the game, you will need spread jelly pieces over plain squares. Now, you may need to either do this for a set number of jelly pieces or the entire board.
In order to spread a jelly piece, you need to make a match of at least three with a candy that is already stuck in jelly. For example, if you have two orange candies lathered in jelly and move one from a plain square to the match, you add one jelly square to the board.
1. Focus Your Attention To The Jelly
This is a fairly basic tip, but an overall important one to keep in the back of your head. Remember, the name of the game is jelly. You need to focus pretty much all of your moves on matches with candies already existing in jelly. Any match within a plain square and you’re just wasting your moves. However…
2. Create The Cascade
Often, you’re going to find that you can not make any more jelly squares as no matches are available. When this moment of desperation hits, work from the bottom of the board. When you work from the bottom of the board, you can create the cascade effect in which new candies will fall onto the board and create new matches for you. If all goes according to plan, you’ll keep your play efficient and have jelly matches created for you.
3. Be Patient With Your Special Candies
Just like regular matches, your special candies need to be matched or activated in an already existing jelly piece if you want them to help you spread jelly. For example, if you activate a jelly fish outside the jelly, it will NOT spread jelly for you to another place. However, if activated within a jelly, it will. Therefore, try and wait for your special candy to fall into a jelly piece so it will be better suited to spread jelly.
You should also look to hold onto special candies so you can combine them with other special candies. Using a wrapped or striped candy is great. However, combining them is a complete game changer since they can spread jelly on at least half of the board.
