Wait until the end to free striped candies
There are three striped candies caught in marmalade that you want to avoid freeing. If you do clear those striped candies, the bomb dispenser on top of them will let out bombs. These bombs are very hard to clear and should not be let out until the end of the level.

Begin working on the sides of the level
Because the column of marmalade-striped candy squares is in the middle, you should start working on the sides of the board. There are 9 jelly squares on each side of the board that you should take care of before you move towards the middle. If you can't clear all those jellies, then as a last resort, try to use the striped candies in marmalade.

Vertical striped candies are useful
Vertical striped candies are very useful because they can take out 3 jellies at a time without risking too much damage that would set off the trapped striped candies. You can use special candy combinations, but be careful with them because they could be too powerful and happen to let the bomb dispenser disperse candy bombs.
