Licorice poses a similarly insidious threat, since it limits your special candies' effectiveness. Don't let them take over the board. Look for moves adjacent to multiple licorice swirls. This will let you remove all the swirls in question with only a single move.

The portals in this level are set up very oddly. As candies drop through the blue portals, they emerge from the red. Each set of portals is set up to mirror the other.
