    Clear the blockers on the left and right sides

    Don't focus on the few meringue in Candy Crush level 677, since it is more important initially to break the licorice Xs You'll want to break the licorice that is blocking the striped candies you can use. Clearing out the left and right sides of the board early is very important, as it will let you use the conveyor belts to your advantage later.

    Get rid of bombs as necessary

    Timed candy bombs will drop into the board on Candy Crush level 677 every few turns. There's nothing you can do about the candy bombs, but it's something to keep in mind that you'll have to deal with throughout the level Don't obsess about clearing every bomb immediately. Try to use combos to take out the bombs, to be as efficient with your moves as possible. Destroy any bombs that get below 5 or 6. PLAY ON YOUR LAPTOP OR PC!!! You only need 5 combos as opposed to the 10 needed on your mobile device. I realized this after many many tries.

The \"fix\" must be in on this one. My board gave me 40 moves and the need to make 5 matches of striped candies. Accomplished after about 5 tries with 3 stars. Keep on crushin'

Not sure if that the same for everyone - but playing on mobile /tablet is asking 10 combos...playing through pc , only 5 which I have passed in no time

OMG !!! I JUST PASSED THIS LEVEL AFTER HUNDREDS OF TRYS USING 2 HAND BOOSTERS AND 2 MOVES LEFT ........ THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE HARDEST LEVELS .

finally completed this level today with 2 moves to spare... I did give up on this level for a week, but randomly came back and attempted it! It's pure luck.... Glad that level is over with!!!

I passed it after playing about 40 times. You have to be very careful every move you make and yes clearing the sides first is a big advantage. Also, make sure that combine the two stripes in the best way, especially on the sides. I was able to get three of the ten from the locked down sides. Avoid wrapped and color ball candies, as they will destroy all of your stripped candies.

The most difficult level of all, and I can say it because I have already finished the last level, 710. But I was able to beat this even without any extra booster.

677 is possible if you take your time and look around before moving. Took me weeks but have cleared it now. Be aware though, now stuck on level 683 which is horrid with bombs in liquorice and a few seconds in a timed game to reach an unrealistic score to achieve even one star to move on. ridiculous level every time you set something up it takes it away usually a lot of the stripes very frustrating. Been on this level almost a week and it is boring. Candy crush needs to give me a break I have not had 1 easy screen yet. I do every thing it says to do to no avail. You need to work on this level and it says this level is mostly luck well obviously I don't have any. not a fun level at all

Why do I keep trying to pass this level is beyond me. The best I have gotten is five combos. Why is it, if I use a striped candy and a multi colored cupcake, that the striped that match don't count towards combos? On some games it does and some not. I needto just quit, no matter what I try, doesn't seem to work.
