How To Play Candy Crush Soda Saga
Level Types:
Soda Levels: The first and most common level type in Candy Crush Soda. Here you will be matching soda bottles in order to bring the purple soda level to the top. Combining three or more soda bottles will either help you to collect the required amount of bottles or raise the soda level to the top.
Frosting Levels: Frosting levels are introduced in Candy Crush Soda Level 6. Here you will need to clear out the ice blocks in order to find the bears underneath them. There will be a certain number of bears hidden throughout the board that you will need to find to beat the level. To clear the ice, you will need to make a match with the same candy that is hidden underneath it.
Bubble Levels: Bubble levels are introduced in Candy Crush Soda Level 9. In this type of level, players will need to pop the soda bottles in order to raise the soda level and move the gummy bears above the candy string. To move the bears, which will be inside of bubbles, to the top of the candy string, you will need to make matches above them on the board.
Chocolate Levels: Chocolate levels are introduced in Candy Crush Soda Level 31. This type of level will contain chocolate squares around the board. To beat this level you will need to make matches next to the chocolate in order to clear it from the board. The chocolate will continue to spread as you make moves around the board.
Honey Levels: Honey Levels are introduced in Candy Crush Soda Level 76. To beat this type of level you will need to clear out all of the bears that are hiding underneath the honey blocks. The honey blocks can have up to six layers to clear off. This means you will have to make multiple matches in order to free the bear.
Special Candies
Striped Candy: Just like in Candy Crush Saga, players are able to create striped candy. Striped candies clear out an entire row or column depending if the stripes are horizontal or vertical. To create striped candies, players will need to combine four of the same candies in a column or row. Once on the board, combine it in a match-three to activate it.
Wrapped Candy: Wrapped candies were also introduced in Candy Crush Saga. To form a wrapped candy, players must match five candies in a T or L shape. When activate, the wrapped candies will clear out the surrounding eight candies.
Fish Candy: Fish candies are new for Candy Crush Soda Saga. To form fish candies, players will need to match four candies in a square shape (2×2 shape). The fish candy will swim to another tile on the board and eat it up. These are great when you have candies on different sections of the board.
Color Bombs: Color bombs will form when you match five of the same candy in a row or a column. To activate it, swap it with another candy on the board. Once activated, it will clear out the entire color candy from the board.
Coloring Bomb: New to the game, coloring bombs are one of the most powerful special candies in the game and are newly available in Candy Crush Soda Saga. To form a coloring bomb, match seven of the same candies in a T shape. When activated, coloring bombs will turn all of the candies that you match it with to the coloring candy.
