Make striped candies.
In order to get through the meringue s, you'll need to make striped candy combinations (or make moves adjacent to the meringues). A striped candy is formed when you combine 4 same-colored candies. If the fourth piece is brought up or down, the stripes will face that direction (vertical). If the fourth piece is brought from the left or right, the stripes will face that direction (horizontal). In this level, you want vertical striped candies
Make matches for the licorice.
The licorice xs cannot be cleared by striped candies . The only way to clear them is a wrapped candy or if you make a move within the licorice X. You don't need to clear every licorice X to win this level. Focus more on tip #3: making special candies !
Make special candy and cascading candy combinations.

Level 36 Cheat #1: Make striped candies.
- In order to get through the meringues, you'll need to make striped candy combinations (or make moves adjacent to the meringues).

How To Beat Target Score Levels:
- Stay focused. Only make moves that help increase your score. Typically in these types of levels, the move limit is low. If there are blockers or other obstacles standing in your way, make sure that you ignore them and are continuously scanning the board for potential combinations or large matches. Do not waste moves on clearing the boosters or obstacles unless necessary.
- Look to create special candy combinations. Special candy combinations will help you to use your moves efficiently since they have a higher point value attached to them. When possible, make combinations that include 4+ candies. Also, look to combine two special candies together.
- Take your time. Since these levels do not have a time limit, make sure that each move you make is the best move. Remember, you are trying to reach a target score, not beat the clock or clear blockers. Continue to look around the board to be sure that each move you make, impacts the score.
Bonus Tip: Bottom-Up Strategy
AIMatches at the bottom create cascades that can set up combos above. Always scan the bottom third of the board first.
