Burst the meringues to turn them into jelly and fill the right half of the board
The way to start this level is to burst as many of the meringues on the left side of the board as you can. By eliminating these the candies will fall down to the right side of the board to fill it. From there you can start making bigger matches.

Use striped candies to eliminate columns of meringues and jelly
This level consists of two boards that are fairly vertical. Vertical striped candies can eliminate whole rows of jelly and help you out a lot.

If you get a color bomb, wait to match it with a striped candy
As Hint #2 explained, striped candies are great for this level. If you are able to get a color bomb, hold off on using it until you can match it with a striped candy. This will give you a bunch of striped candies scattered throughout the board. Collectively, these striped candies will decimate the board and possibly beat the level, if not bring you incredibly close.
