    The Mighty Striped/Color Bomb Combo

    In order to beat level 438 you need at least one striped/color bomb combo. Getting two will most likely also supply your blue candy goal for the level. Save your color bombs so you can use them in this combo.

    Toffee Tornado Again

    The darned toffee tornado is at it again! The tornado can clear some meringues for you, but it might also ruin your special candies. As always, the tornado means this level requires a certain amount of luck.

    Destroy the Meringues

    The meringues take up roughly half of the board on 438. Try to break through them to the color bomb in the marmalade as quick as you can. If you can do this before the tornado destroys the bomb you're off to a good start. Taking out the meringues will also free up the board so you can make more combos.

I had been fed up after hundreds of unsuccessful tries and had to spend two lollipop hammers and 9 gold bars, which I earned for free from a candy challenge, to finish this shit level. The most difficult order for me was the 90 blues. I completed both color bomb+striped and 30 striped order two times before, but couldn't make the blue order. And this time also I was short of 15 blues. So I spent 9 gold bars to buy 5 more moves. Even after that I was 5 blues short when only one move left. So I used two lollipop hammers to crush two blues and then match a 3. What a waste of precious boosters for this shitty level! Btw, then I was able to complete the next two levels on their first attempt. After all, this episode was very difficult with lots of nasty levels. It seconds only to the episode from 201-215 where I spend more than a month because of another nasty level 210.

Geertje, the 30 striped candies get covered if you can get 1 or 2 candy bomb/striped candy combo's :)

I agree, I was suck on 437 the longest of all but I refuse to pay! However, I had saved up quite a few candy hammers and that got me finally over the line! It was a big pain in the you know what though! And 438 says here: \"The goal of level 438 is to get 90 blue candies and 1 striped candy and color bomb combination get a score of at least 50,000 points in just 55 moves.\" However on my game it also tells us to get 30 -yes 30 striped candies! Did anyone else have that?

Never pay. You can always win with paying nothing. I tried paying twice for a total of $1.99 and it didn't help and that was when I first started playing. When I was on level 437, I looked to see how much it cost to buy lollipops and it was $4.99. I found a way to get free lollipops and other boosters (google it and you can, too--it's a long explanation). Did you know that King makes millions every day from people paying to play this game?

I am so mad I could spit!!!!!!2 times today I stupidly spent 10.00 each time because I was one striped candy away. Then a box pops up and tells me candy crush has stopped. And by the way, I have been playing for a very long time on 438. It's like it messes with you, someone is right there with you making the decisions in your game. Shame on you.....this used to be fun evenif iI had to spend a small fortune sometimes....and you know what King folks , Candy Crush makers, you are getting poor reviews.....this can't be okay with gaming federation....right? I'm so pissed off.....I can't even believe it

Luck yes loads of it! In all the games I've played at this level all the possible moves are at the top or the middle - never got close to clearing the meringue
