Take out the licorice swirls
This level is not nearly as hard as it looks. The licorice swirls at the top are the only ones in the level. No others fall. Work the top of the board. Making matches up there will help you get rid of those licorice swirls. While it's better to take them out first, the licorice swirls aren't an absolute priority. Take care of them when you can.

Use the jelly fish
While the jelly fish at the top of the board are tempting, the best thing to start off with are the two jelly fish at the bottom of the screen. Releasing these jelly fish will clear a lot of the marmalade at the top of the board. Sometimes, these jelly fish even clear the licorice swirls, so make good use of them.

Combos, combos, combos
special candies such as color bombs are a great way to clear out some jelly. There are only five color on the board, so combinations are really easy to make.
