Know the quadrant order.

In level 182, the game can look a lot more complex than it is--especially when it's a timed level! The above picture shows you the order in which quadrants break down from left to right. Keep this in mind while you're trying to earn the minimum number of points of 30,000.

Chocolate before bombs.

You need to clear the chocolate before the bombs in this level because you won't be able to get moves from one quadrant to another with the chocolate blocking you--plus, if you want to get moves to clear a bomb, you'll need to clear those chocolates to create more moves on the board! Once you've taken care of the chocolate (or most of it)--you can focus on clearing the bombs, this is also a great opportunity to try and nab some +5 second candies.

Meringue last.

Next Since the meringue s don't pose a threat of preventing your gameplay, they should be the lowest on your priority order (might seem a bit backwards when you look at the board) but clearing the meringues is a lot easier than trying to get rid of a bomb when it only has 2 moves left!

Level 182 is a Timed level, one of five level types in Candy Crush Saga. Your objective is to get 30,000 points in 120 seconds. In order to complete a Timed level, you have to reach a certain score in a certain amount of time. Its more difficult than it seems, since you don't really have time to think about the moves you're making.

How to Beat Timed Levels:

  • Some of the candies have +5's on them. Match these candies! They'll give you five extra seconds in the round, which could be the difference between winning and losing.
  • The timed levels can vary a lot in time, so watch out! Some of them can be as short as fifteen seconds.
  • Some timed levels still have blockers on them, so watch out for them.
  • If you've achieved the minimum score but still have time left, stop playing unless there are no blockers on the board. There's no point losing a level that you have already won.
  • Sugar crushes can be a huge advantage on these levels! Any special candies that you have formed, but that haven't been activated yet, will be activated by a sugar crush. This will get you a HUGE amount of points.

AS FAR AS I THINK, 182 LEVEL IS PROGRAM BY THE COMPUTER. WHICH MEANS THAT IT'S UP TO THIS LEVEL IF CAN ALLOWED YOU TO GO TO THE OTHER LEVEL. BECOUSE THIS LEVEL IS FORMED THE WAY THAT THEY CAN PROGRAM IN THE COMPUTER. ALMOST 50 0R MORE LIVES THAT I SPEND THIS LEVEL BUT STILL NOTHING IT HAPPEND. I HAVE A LOT OF FRIEND PLAYING OF CANDY CRUSH AND I SHARE WITH THEM ABOUT THISE LEVEL AND THEY SAID THAT THEY ALMOST STOP PLAYING CANDY CRUSH BECOUSE THEY CANNOT PASS THIS LEVEL AND OTHER PREVIOUS LEVEL, BUT JUST BECOUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO THATS WHY SOMETIME THEY CAN OPENED UNTIL FINNALLY THEY CAN BREAK THIS LEVEL AND THEY BEGAN TO REALIZE THAT THISE LEVEL IS NOT THE PLAYER TO BREAK THIS LEVEL, BUT IT IS UP WITH THE COMPUTER IF CAN ALLOW YOU TO GO TO THE OTHER LEVEL.

Your advice is worthless if the game doesn't give you the right combination to kill the chocolate... This is by far the most ridiculous level so far.

Forget the chocolate. That quadrant is meaningless. even if it is full of chocolate, who cares? You have enough to do with searching for the single possible combination in three other quadrants, before it starts shuffling - again and again... Finally made it by using a color bomb from the start, after days of playing...

I was stuck on this level for a month.. wasted over 1,000 lives on it then suddenly I barely made it over the 30,000 requirement. Hang in there people, don't quit. You will complete this when you least expect it.

Bad news, friends: After you've completed level 335, you have to play 182 again and score at least 38,000 points to unlock the next level. I've been stuck for a couple weeks now.

Well, how do you like that? The moment I post about my angst, the Tooth Fairy comes and puts me out of my misery -- I lost *hundreds* of lives trying to beat 182 a second time (as a quest) and she just came along and gave me a "pass". W00t!

I just cheated my way through this level. Sorry I can't be bothered with levels like this. For those who want REAL cheats use Cheat Engine. I'm happy to play for fun without it, but it gets rid of the stupid pig levels like this one.

The video walkthrough shows the game starting with four blue bombs and almost all of the first square blue as well. How convenient! I've been playing this level for a week now and have yet to see that happen. So their strategy is evidently to just keep playing as long as it takes for the game to start out with a no-brainer arrangement like in the video. I guess skill is no longer a factor.

Use a brown candy bomb that you win from your daily free spin! Just be sure to clear all your bombs in the limited moves. You easily have over the 30000 points after using the brown candy bomb on any candy...doesn't even have to be a special candy!

I totally ignored the chocolate. The most I could ever do was get rid of one, then I had no matches in that quadrant to get rid of the other one. I focused on the bombs first, then the blocks. If you don't get rid of the blocks the whole right side doesn't get new candies. I just kept an eye on three of the quadrants and left the chocolate alone. I finally passed the level doing it this way!

Therefore, they probably wont show this comment either!! But since I used your advice, I got MUCH closer to beating this level than I ever have before!! Still haven't beaten it yet, but I am still using your advice because it works WAY better than the advice I got from these cheats here!! Thanks girl. now i feel like i have a chance at passing this level! Thanks so much for sharing!

I spent almost a month on this level and just now passed it. I also did it the way Ann did. Ignored the chocolate, bombs first, then meringue so the candy could fall through to the 3rd quadrant, make as many of the special candies (pair up if possible) that you can and grab the extra time candies. In addition to all of that, it is just plain luck and circumstance. Just keep trying and you WILL get through.

You are right, the chocolate can be ignored. but still this is a completely stupid level, you are just always searching for the single one combination possible, then the board is shuffling again and again, all this costs some seconds, I wonder how mad you have to be to design such a stupid layout.

Use a Truffle Bomb (you can get them in the daily spin)..worked on this level for days til I read Ann's note below. Game ate my first one...but the second-pick the color to connect to that has the most bombs (mine happened to have two blue bombs) Final score-72000. Thanks Ann!

I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get 3 stars on this. I finally decided to use a spotted candy and I paired it with one of the bombs (there were two yellow bombs, so I paired it with a yellow candy) and it went straight up to 3 stars! I wish I would have figured this out earlier!!

The creators of these games sure know how to aggravate players. Games should be fun but these games are nothing but frustration! I wish I had not started playing Candy Crush Saga and I certainly will not recommend it to anybody!

I worked on level 182 for two days and after reading your suggestions I used one of my chocolate sprinkles and made it the first try. On level 181after trying for about two weeks I used two of the little hammer thingy and passed that level. So be patient and think what techniques you used in the past levels to complete them. You have the skills if you've come this far. I am moving on to level 183 and have never spent any money on here. I use the little tools I have collected by spinning the wheel once every 24 hrs. I save them until I find a level I can't complete on my own. Good luck.

Finally I got key to pass level-181 after 10 days of hard tryout, subsequently after passing 181 just completed episode 13 within half hours. Oh GOD Level 181 is really a hardest level to clear.

after weeks of frustration on this level, I finally did it not by scoring 30,000 on the outset but by leaving enough bombs, stripes and +5's to activate automatically after my time was up. I was at 18,000 and had 2 bombs, 2 stripes and about 3 +5's (which turn into bombs) and after they activated it kept creating a chain reaction of more bombs and stripes and activating them as well and my score just kept going up till it went over the required score. But you need all 4 quadrants. getting the right drops is the key.

This level sucks! 8 out of 10 times you have no chance to get the bombs and you lose with1.5 minutes to spare. I've lost count how many times I have played. Could make me quit Candy Crush.
