Focus on the center of the board only
The most important thing to remember in this level is the work in the center of the board when ever you can. This ensures that you clear jellies out and gives you a better chance of not setting off any bomb dispensers on the sides of the board. As you work in the center, licorice swirls will fall from the dispensers above. Don't concern yourself too much with them. Just work around them to get the job done.

Activate vertically striped candies
Vertically striped candies activated in the center of the board will be the best bet here. Try and NOT set off any horizontally striped candies though. There is a good chance that they could set off one of the bomb dispensers on the side of the board. Remember that any licorice swirls swallow up the effect of of striped candies, so try not to waste any that are in the same column as the blocker.

Combine vertically striped candies with other specials
If you are able to combine a vertically striped candy with another specials then do it! A vertical and a wrapped candy combo works great in the center of the board. A color bomb and a vertically striped candy will do a great amount of damage, however there is a chance they will also free bombs from dispensers.
