Candy Crush Glitches!

This week has been filled with glitches from Candy Crush Saga. Users are wondering if the newly launched Dreamworld is causing problems for the game titan.

Since Dreamworld can only be played when connected to the Internet or mobile data, the new coding for the game is causing glitches for users. Some good, some bad.

One glitch–which has happened in the past but is occurring much more commonly this week–is that users are able to refill to 6 lives rather than just 5. And this glitch isn’t just visual, you really do get six lives.

Earlier today (Dec. 13th), users reported that Candy Crush was not loading on Facebook. On twitter and other social media sites, people were reporting that the game would not fully load.

No word yet from King or Facebook on why this glitch is happening but you can imagine, a lot of us crushers are frustrated we can’t play!

A New Candy Crush World – Dreamworld

The makers of Candy Crush have released a new Dreamworld–available to any players! Rather than updating levels past the 500 mark, Candy Crush Saga has introduced a new world with 65 new levels! If you need help beating any of the Dreamworld levels, check out our Candy Crush Dreamworld Cheats!

Our new world behaves mostly like the Candy Crush you’re used to: clear 3-or-more same colored candies, clear jellies, get a certain score, bring down ingredients. But this new world has two new fun features!

The first is Odus, the Owl. Odus balances on top of a crescent moon. Each side of the moon will have different colored candies. As you play, you need to equally use those candies (or avoid them all together) or the moon begins to tip to one side. If you favor one of the colors on Odus’ moon too much, he’ll fall off and your game will be over!

What comes with Odus is Moon Struck. Moon Struck happens when you’ve filled the little bar under Odus (this is done by making enough moves on the board). When there is a Moon Struck, a color is zapped from your board!

Candy Crush Saga Dreamworld cheats will help you beat all the Dreamworld levels in the game. Candy Crush Saga released Dreamworld with 65 new levels On December 10th, 2013. It is accessible to any Candy Crush user and is available on Facebook, Android and all iOS devices. Dreamworld is similar to the rest of the Candy Crush game – the boards look the same, candies are matches the same, and jellies are cleared the same, but there are two big new features – Odus the Owl and Moonstruck!

What is Candy Crush Dreamworld?

In Dreamworld, you must keep Odus the Owl balanced on the moon. In every game, Odus will perch on a moon and either side of the moon will have a candy color. You must either make moves avoiding these colors or make equal moves of the two colors to keep him balanced on the moon. If you favor one color (or forget to pay attention) for too long, Odus will fall off the moon and the game will be over.

However, if you successfully balance the moon then you will earn a MOON STRUCK. A moon struck will clear one color completely from your board. You can have more than one moon struck per game.

There are currently 65 levels to beat. Some are like target score levels (get a certain score in [x] amount of moves), some are like jelly levels (clear the jellies in [x] amount of moves) and some are ingredient levels. There are no timed levels, yet.

Candy Crush Too Popular for IPO?!

Earlier this year, it was announced that the makers of Candy Crush were seeking to file an IPO. If you don’t know, an IPO is an initial public offering which is when a company begins to sell off shares (or “assets”) in the stock market. An IPO allows a private company to go public and is usually done when a company wants to raise money for expansion.

Earlier this year, the social media mogul Twitter went public and shares are being sold at $50 each. Many other popular websites and internet companies are looking to cash out their popularities by going public.

But King is now rethinking its IPO filing. And why? Because maybe Candy Crush is too popular.

What everyone loves discussing about Candy Crush is how popular it is and how popular it has been for so long. It’s unprecedented to see a game top the charts for as long as Candy Crush has. It is estimated King makes over $800,000 a day in revenue from Candy Crush alone.

The problem with going public in early 2014 is if Candy Crush’s popularity begins to fall, the value of the company does too. King is hedging its bets with this decision–while Papa Pear and Pet Rescue are popular, they are nowhere near Candy Crush. If Candy Crush begins to fall out of fashion (perhaps this is just an inevitability), the company will suffer not just from users leaving but also from share holders.
